My friend arrived yesterday just before my bro's gf arrived to take my mom to town, so we had a nice private visit and she was still here and visited with everyone before she left.

Made up stir fry fish chowder mix with broccoli for supper.

Today was cleaning day, 2 Bathrooms, kitchen,bath and pantry sweep and mop and vacuum and laundry. Got the beds changed too, Then a nice hot bath and we went to town. Ooh oh, 1/2 price bakery stuff. cinnamon donuts, red velvet & chocolate chip cookies, cherry loaf and blueberry muffins.... my mom really likes this ind of stuff. I did freeze some of each, but I had 3 of the cookies... temptation!

Reading my "Knitting Under the Influence" book while I watch the news about the Fredericton knitters who were knitting poppies and the Legion asked them to stop... I actually saw someone at the store today wearing poppie earrings...
Another quiet nite, no cards this week, don't know why
