GRATEFUL ATTITUDE
We have the ability to choose our attitude. No one tells us to be mad or angry. No one tells us to
feel sorry for ourselves or be bitter. No one tells us to worry and complain about situations in our lives or things we don’t have. We should be grateful that we can choose our own attitude. Rather than allowing our current circumstances or aggravating people control how we feel, we need to allow God’s Spirit renew our thoughts and attitude and be grateful in all things.
Ephesians 4:23 “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to remember all day long that we can choose to have a grateful attitude. We can choose not to let circumstances control how we feel. We have so many things to be grateful for. We are grateful that Your Spirit is able to renew our thoughts and our attitude so we can focus on doing Your work and making a difference. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
