Saturday Morning

I had plans to go bicycling, but decided to do a full "regular" workout... stretching, elliptical, and treadmill. I am not normally much of a movie-watcher, but my sister recommended a movie and I promised her I'd watch it. So I watched it during my workout and surprise, I got so distracted by the movie that I was able to go longer on both the elliptical and the treadmill! And I was able to increase my speed by .5 mph! Maybe distraction is what I need to keep my mind off the negative thoughts that I often have while exercising.

But back to the cycling.... hubby wants to go with me tomorrow for a long bike ride together. I'm excited about it and hope the nice weather holds out.

    emoticon I watch TV while I ride my stationary bike and have recorded shows that I know will hold my interest. AND.. a biking outing with your husband! That's great.. My husband can ride circles around me, but occasionally likes a slower ride, but it's too cold here now for me to go on the road.

    Before my accident I used to go to this gym. They had a great cardio/movie room. I could settle in on my choice of fat weapon (lifecycle, eliptical, recumbent bike, treadmill) and watch the movie while I worked out. The time used to fly by and I didn't even miss the popcorn!

Have fun on the bike ride tomorrow!
