8 – A moment you felt the most satisfied with your life.
Hmmm, this is a hard one for me. Even happy moments have things I want to change about them. I guess one of the reasons this is hard for me is I’m am a pretty happy person most of the time. I’m up beat and always smiling, generally finding the good in things and not letting the bad things keep me down. There have always been things in my life I would change, but overall, its been pretty good. Things that pop into my head that I’d put on a list of times I was happy would probably be …
1 – My wedding. There were issues and things I would change even 6 years from the event, but overall, it was a time well spent with friends and family and the ceremony and reception did fit our personality.
2 – Trips to Disneyland. I’ve only been about 5 times or so. Because its not an all the time thing, I think the magic of the place is still pretty bright.
3 – Summers at camp. There are things about camp that have made it difficult and may have me saying I don’t want to return during or at the end, but an application always seems to be submitted and I pack my bags for another summer, so the good must outway the bad somehow.
There are other times that might make the list, depending on how long it can be, such as visiting family (especially after moving out and other relatives). But that’s a good start I’d say.
9 – Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.
My zodiac sign is Pisces. If you’re talking my Chinese sign (like you see on the placemats at Chinese restaurants) then I’m a Pig. I don’t really follow astrology stuff, but I did look up basic personality traites from both the zodiac and Chinese side and I’ll evaluate on those.
Characteristics of a Pisces are:
Strength: Compassionate, Adaptable, Accepting, Devoted, and Imaginative.
Weakness: Oversensitive, Indecisive, Self-pitying, Lazy, and Escapist
Famous celebrities who are also Pisces include: Albert Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Bruce Willis, Drew Barrymore, Dakota Fanning, Steve Jobs, Dr. Seuss, Hilary Clinton, Michael Jackson, Edgar Allen Poe, Vincent Van Gogh, and Paris Hilton.
Characteristics of the Pig are:
Hardworking, Giving, Willing, Helpful, Materialistic, Gullible, Oblivious, Obstinate
Chinese also give them an element, of which I am Water, so …
Water Pigs go with the flow and usually trust people before they truly know them. This, of course, can get them into trouble because they are often to trusting for their own good. Water Pigs are quite easily influenced; yet, can be very persuasive when it comes to getting what they want. These people love parties and social situations and enjoy giving of themselves to help others.
Famous celebrities who are also Pigs include: Woody Allen, Julie Andrews, Ronald Reagan, Alfred Hitchcock, and Steven Spielberg.
If you ask my husband, he’d say I fit the characteristics of a pig more than the characteristics of a pisces, with the exception of devoted and imaginative. In regards to a water pig, he also says its pretty spot on except for the “go with the flow” comment. Well, guess if I ever follow my sign, I should follow the pig more than the pisces.
