"No Excuses!"

This year, I decided there were "No Excuses" after I damaged my knee, and had a long knee rehab which lasted about 9 months. My physical therapist told me today that I've done as well as I can. I can bend my knee at 107 degrees! I am so happy, as I started out with a straight leg bending at only 20 degrees. My PT also said that I must keep up the exercise routine she has given me, or if I don't use it, I will lose it.

In addition to my PT routine, I started working out in a chair through Spark People's Chair Exercise team. I now "chair dance" to my favorite music that I have through Amazon Cloud. It is a lot harder than you think, but I am building my stamina. I make sure I have the right music to exercise, or I don't have my exercise mojo.

I can recreate most of my PT routine at home, and I have an elliptical machine to maintain the flexibility in my knee. I just did an additional 5 minutes of it a few moments ago.

There really are no excuses unless you make them.

    Look how very inspirational you are to so many people. I just welcomed someone to the site and included the chair routing on here and one I found on youtube.com to get her started, but I do hope she can stumble across this one as well. Could you add it to the team link so that we can all share it with each other, or do you mind if I do?

(I still laugh every time someone says "chair dancing". I know I am like Beevis & Butthead, but it makes me think of all of us as strippers, or doing something like Flashdance! HAHA Comical!)

    I am so glad you have this attitude. Being handicapped through not exercising and over eating would be so depressing for you. You are doing GREAT!!!

    emoticon For posting this blog and video. I wish more people would understand the .. "Use it our Lose it " I have arthritis all over my body, I go to gym I do pump with weights, it's making those joint's move if not they will cease up.
