Here is the link to the No Excuses knee exercise link through the Dr. Oz show. Dr. Oz's own personal trainer, Donovan Green, has done his own, "No Excuses," chair exercise video.
This year, I decided there were "No Excuses" after I damaged my knee, and had a long knee rehab which lasted about 9 months. My physical therapist told me today that I've done as well as I can. I can bend my knee at 107 degrees! I am so happy, as I started out with a straight leg bending at only 20 degrees. My PT also said that I must keep up the exercise routine she has given me, or if I don't use it, I will lose it.
In addition to my PT routine, I started working out in a chair through Spark People's Chair Exercise team. I now "chair dance" to my favorite music that I have through Amazon Cloud. It is a lot harder than you think, but I am building my stamina. I make sure I have the right music to exercise, or I don't have my exercise mojo.
I can recreate most of my PT routine at home, and I have an elliptical machine to maintain the flexibility in my knee. I just did an additional 5 minutes of it a few moments ago.
There really are no excuses unless you make them.
