Personal Training and Stomach report

Friday, November 09, 2012

I loved my personal training session on Thursday! The next day I could feel the soreness creeping in. Saturday was terrible and Sunday I was still really sore. I had tons of things to do around the house so I was still working those muscles. I'm rescheduling to Tuesdays so I can have plenty of time to heal up for Zumba on Saturday. At least soreness means I really needed that workout.

Didn't go to Zumba on Saturday- was too sore, plus house chores are taking precedence right now. I'm getting ready to put it on the market so I have to give up some of my "me" time for the goal of getting me out of here. I will feel so much better when I'm in a new, smaller house. I'm not handy at all. My husband took care of that, and the house is getting to that age when it will really need some attention, like painting the exterior. Why should I spend money on that for a house I don't want/need anymore when I could put that towards a down payment on a new home?

Stomach report: Finally got my GI doc to order an ultrasound of my belly to take a look at my gallbladder since I get sick after I eat red meat and fatty foods. Sounds like gallbladder, right? I've never had it removed. Got the results back. It says my gallbladder is "ABSENT". What the hell?? Seems like a technician error. If it's not, then one of my past docs has a lot of explaining to do! Anyway? Where are the scars from this removal?? It's rare, I found, but sometimes people are born without one. Am I more highly evolved than others? I doubt it. So now I have to prove to my GI doc that I am not a crazy person who can't even remember having my gallbladder out. Great!! My sister is a nurse and worked at that hospital system and says that sometimes they make mistakes reading reports, especially in the outpatient side. Grrr!

Oooh! I am so glad you are enjoying your personal trainer.

Interesting that your gallbladder went AWOL. I googled it and some people (1 in 1000) are born without one.
