Kill My Computer

Friday, November 09, 2012

I am not a violent woman. I can handle most things life flings at me. However, I have been having computer problems for the past couple of months and things have escalated to the point that I can not do the simplest of things without the whole darn thing freezing up and giving me a ton of error messages. Since I use my computer for my home business, as well as dozen other things. It has frustrated the holy hell out of me and this week I was tempted to put my foot through the monitor. Not nice "Nana behavior", I know.

Both my husband and my son in law have tried to fix it. However, it was a cheap Walmart buy and is time to let it go and get a new one. The thing is this is not a good time for me to spend money. It would come out of the business budget, but the Gem Show is just a few months away, and I really have to have every dollar for that.

My husband has very graciously lent me his lap top to use when he is not on it and I will borrow it until I buy my own. One of the things that have bothered me the most is not being able to sign on to SparkPeople and log my meals and so forth. I am fighting my weight as it is and I don't want to to give myself any excuse to slip up any further. Especially with the holidays coming up. Plus, I miss reading about my Spark buddies and keeping in contact with them. So, for a while I will be on SparkPeople sporadically, but I am by no means giving up. emoticon

I use my system for our business too and I would be lost without my computer!

I am hoping Black friday will have a good system!

It was good to see someone other than me in the huddle today!

    Hang in there!
