One full week ~ and so I stepped on the scale ~ just over a pound lost! I'll take it, and in my mind my scrub pants are ALREADY fitting better. I found myself looking forward to going to the gym today, and I was certainly tired afterwards (I do like to 'get my nap on' following a good workout). I stayed on track with my eating all day long, and didn't even take the time to get a string cheese or graham crackers for a morning snack. I plugged through the work day, and ate only the healthy options I had packed up for myself in the morning. I have even been thinking ahead to the dinner plans I have for Saturday night; downloaded the menu to the restaurant and pre-planned my dinner choice. A shellfish appetizer and side salad sound delicious, and I'm already looking forward to eating healthy so that I can enjoy the rest of the evening and not feel guilty or bloated afterwards. Feeling good about my week-long commitment so far!
