I've been finding myself in need of three things lately:
Remembering-as in, needing to remember why it is I want to eat kale over cookies, exercise over sleeping in, drink water over soda/juice, etc.
Reminding-as in, needing to remind myself that just because I slip up and fall off track one day, it does not give me license to just continue on the same self-destructive path until a fresh new month comes along, and that that attitude/strategy has never worked for me before
Rebooting-as in, needing to reboot not just my eating and exercise program, but my way of thinking these days
I need to reset whatever switches I've recently triggered because they are not helping me reach my goal of health, but they are in fact rather detrimental to my overall wellbeing. At least I'm aware of this and am not waiting until December 1st to be better, right?!
