I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried.

Thursday, November 08, 2012

I just got home from the Dr's.
I went in for my annual mammogram last week and it was recommended that I get an ultrasound.
I went today and they didn't let me leave until they could give me the results.
I am fine. Whew!

And thankful too.

They did the same thing with my mothers last year.

Best wished on your journey to better health

That happened to me too a couple years back, my mom is a breast cancer survivor going on 13 years now, and I have been getting yearly mammograms since then. I am actually going next week for mine. Glad everything turned out fine! emoticon

It's common to get called back for these diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds - I've had it happen to me three times since I began having mammograms, the most recent just a couple of weeks ago. It's such a relief to hear "everything's fine!" I'm happy for you!
