How often this week did you make excuses, find reasons not to exercise, eat right, or to make the right choices? We often make excuses and feel the need to explain to others why we aren't keepin up our routines.... but have you ever thought of who it is exactly that you are cheating out of a healthier lifestyle - IT's YOU!
It can be easy some times to reason away in our heads why we "deserve" to take a break - we've had a rough day, we're tired, we're busy, we're discouraged. But do you really deserve to treat yourself that way?
That stress you're feeling from the rough day?
Could be aleviated by exercise and might even help you get to sleep better.
That tiredness you feel?
If you really think about it, often after a workout you can feel like you have more energy!
If you're discouraged about your weight-loss journey?
That should be the moment you step it up not back off!!!
I am totally preaching to myself here.
Some days I have to wake up and remind myself - I AM WORTH THE EFFORT!
I am worthy of having a beautiful body. I deserve to have the life I've always dreamed of. I should love myself enough to put in the work and eat right!
The bible says to love others as you love yourself, but if people really looked at how they treat themselves, they would never treat someone else that way! You would never let your kids eat as much junk as you do when they aren't around!!! You wouldn't let them stay home from soccer practice just because they were cranky or had a bad day!
YOU ARE WORTH THE EFFORT
But you have to believe it first.
You should love yourself enough to keep your eye on the end goal!
Don't make quitting an option.
