good thursday morning! not much going on--painting project moves forward, finally got some much needed sleep.
started week 7 of the podrunner series--so i have broken through another level! this time they omitted one of the walking segments--so i am now running for 15 min with a one minute walk in between for a total of 60 minutes (12 min warm up and cool down). i went to the state park to do my run yesterday--just needed to get out and clear my head. came home, got the dogs and went back for their walk. today its petra and then a longer walk with friend, marianne.
eating wise--been doing okay--bleeding around the edges a little--its the time of year and the fact that i am inside most of the time now working. i use "food breaks" to get away from my work. i have been working of alternatives to eating for these "breaks". it will be fine, just have to keep concentrating.

    EEEeeekkk!!! Not "food breaks"!! Ye gods and little fishies woman!! Here are some alternatives for you to choose from:
wash the dishes in the sink (I know they're there)
make the bed
walk the dogs
feed the chickens
plan the dinner menu
rearrange the junk drawer in the kitchen
do a load of laundry
paint 5 minutes longer
drink a 16 oz. glass of cold water
make a pot of tea/coffee
read a catalog (I must have 30 of them)
make up a Christmas list
design a new picture
read the mail
check email

Oh, there are SO many things to do besides take a "food break"!!
You scared me!!
