ZZZ Challenge Week 2

As fate would have it, as much as I brag about how great something is going Im going to hit a snag. This week the sleep - nicht so gut. I have been taking the supplement and it helps me fall asleep -yay! But, last night a 1 in the morning my DD was up trying to take a shower (she had wet the bed) Shes a bit old for this and it hadnt happened in oh a year I guess. Shes 10 so understandably embarrassed (she would KILL me if she knew I was writing this) So there I am at 1AM, changing sheets, bedroom lights on, DH complaining, arguing with a 10 year old that, no- you will take a shower in the morning, no- its not morning its the middle of the d@#n nite. Worked up into a bit of a temper, needless to say, by the time I lay down again and just knew I wouldnt be able to go right back to sleep, so took another dose of the supplement. After about an hour I was back asleep (I forced myself NOT to look at the clock, because when it gets to that point it just makes it worse-the anxiety-oh my gosh I have to get up in X hours) But draaaaging all day.

At the end of an 8 hour day at the office, took DD to cheer and do an extra makeup class because we skipped last week to go trick or treating (duh! it was stoopid not to cancel class on Halloween-they said only 6 girls showed up) But it was 'bring your parent to class nite' so I got to make a fool of myself trying to learn her cheer. Im tracking those exercise minutes! It was fun, wish I hadnt been so tired. DD was tired too. So its been a long day, but I wanted to track.

Oh and due to the cheer class x2, no time for dinner-so fast food. We 'never' do fast food. Honestly the only time I get fast food is on the weekend and its just for DD- not me- for a treat. So, I was lured in by the new Cheesesteak Melt at Jackinthebox. It was 'ok', but it wasnt everything I hoped. On the bright side, the tracker said it was under 500 cals, so I guess it could be worse. And no fries, not even one!

On another note, my scale has been wonky lately, flipping thru all kinds of numbers before settling, so I thought it needs new batteries. Turns out its 2 '3V' batteries, not like I got those laying around ( I actually did find a couple but they were dead too) Im dreading what kind of number I will get when I replace the batteries. No loss yet, but I havent been calorie restricting, just tracking and trying to be reasonable.

So I guess that means I better go get ready for bed. emoticon waah, i dont wanna! Im a nite owl out of habit. The only thing I dont like more than going to bed at nite is having to get up in the morning emoticon

    I've always been a night owl too but once I quit working in an office (I work from home) and I set my own hours, I find can go to bed late and wake up on my own usually by 7:30. Not helpful when you're in an office job, yet something to aim for to make your job fit *YOU* and not the other way around.

    Oh I did not know they had cheer classes all year long. I wonder how many calories one of those burns? you have given me a new idea for mixing up my workout routine.
I know your family has moments that cause you to be more anxious but i am glad you were able to get back to sleep. emoticon
