I'm feeling a little more relaxed now that my MIL is out of danger.
She still has a tube going through her side into her left lung but Dr said they may remove that soon. Her color is better and she's starting to eat a little more. They have her up walking every day now and has started PT arm and leg exercises.
We don't have to spend all day at the hospital now and can alternate going mornings on the days I work and afternoon on the ones I don't.
Holly is going to help me with the library so that all my time won't be spent at the hospital or work. She's filling in for me today, tomorrow will be her turn to stay home while I go to work.
Today I spent part of my free time looking over some old family papers and doing some family research. Discovered where my (3Great) Grandfather is buried in Florida.
Also found an old letter talking about the 1902 mine strike, didn't know we had family involved in that. Very interesting. I think the letter is from my (3 great) step grandfather to his mother. In it he mentioned that John was working very hard... I find that very interesting because 3G grandfather's last name was Mitchell and in an article I googled there is mentioned John Mitchell that is a leader in the Union. I wonder if they are talking about the same one and if so are we kin..... LOL sounds like something for the History Detectives.
My diet has been so so, but have still lost some weight so that's good. I'm going to start back on trying to get more exercise again soon, today I just needed a day to take it easy.
Thank you everyone for all your support, prayers, and well wishes you don't know how much they mean to me and our family.
Oh before I sign off is anyone else having problems with the time change? I'm waking up at 4:30am and am ready for bed at 9pm... it's driving me nuts
