This has been SUCH a hard two months for me. I've been inactive, completely off my diet, and just unmotivated in general. Novembers are so hard; NaNoWriMo is in full swing, and in spite of my best efforts, I end up working 12+ hours a day. Since I work online, this means that Sparkpeople falls behind.
However, I'm determined not to let this derail me. I'm reshuffling my priorities again. I've been to the gym twice this week, boot camp on Monday, and a PT session yesterday. I'm unbelievably sore. My quads and butt hurt so much I have to lower myself onto the toilet with my arms. ;) They're sore too, but two days of leg work hasn't hit them the same way. ;)
I miss you guys. I've been chosen as a team leader for a SP class, so I'm using that as my required daily login. I'm responding to posts there. I'm determined to do this...
The one good thing? In spite of being "off the wagon" somewhat, I have NOT regained any weight. I'm still hovering around 189 or so, and yoyo between there and 185. This means that I HAVE made positive changes for the better. I am not falling into old habits again. Well, I do occasionalyl indulge in the odd second biscuit, but I'm eating healthier, and I don't think I'll go back to it.
Last night, I went with the girls to Chick Fil A. The food... was so mediocre. I haven't eaten there in months, and I was stunned at how bland and unappetizing it was. I mean, I used to eat there once a week! It's funny how my palate has adjust to fresh, whole foods. No more deep-fried machine-processed white meat for me. :)
