Be Fit Or Be Fat!

Wednesday, November 07, 2012

It's a daily choice, may sound harsh even, but 'patty-caking' & coddling does not get the victory! Allowances ....... sure, there are times the body simply needs rest and then continue on ........... But excuses? No!! .......

It's like a 'rich person' ......... If they were once 'poor' and asked if they would ever go back ........... all would say NO!! Never!!" Abundance is better than lack!

Likewise, the "Be fit Or Be Fat' is what I have chosen to live by w/ a new resolution soon to be cast in die .......... and I don't preach it to others, cos we all have to make our own decisions to live by.............

This morning I awoke very early, in plenty of time for a workout - ( felt drained but I said those words to myself ......... "Be Fit or Be Fat" then ........... so I headed straight to the gym .......... All I have to do is 'remember back' to when I weighed 30# more than now ......... and the decision is made! I do NOT want to turn back, or lose ground ........ No matter how you slice it .......... fitness and good health means the world to me ......... and it beats fat! .......... (Oh, this doesn't mean you or I have to be 'model perfect' weight ........... because this is taking time and much endurance to get there ................. Don't know when that will happen, but for sure .......... I'm going forward and not back! .............. This is my 2013 resolution 1-2 months early ............. emoticon

i agree we can't talk our selves out of working out It's ok to take a break from working out. The key is to never let more than one-day pass without exercising. One day is a break, two days is the start of a downhill slide.
The only difference between try and triumph is a little umph!
thanks for the reminder

Hadn't thought about the upcoming new year and what resolutions I want to make but I do know that I want to make a couple and I REALLY want to stick to them this time. I have tried in the past and only stuck with them a few weeks at most but I need to find important changes that need to occur and scream them out loud for all to hear and then stick with them to incorporate them into my life. I love your mantra and know that I need something similar to get that fat out of here for GOOD!

    Wow, 2:45 a.m. I don't have the energy. I wake at 4:30 a.m. for work.
Fit or fat, good mantra.

Right on! I would much rather have a st8 shooter telling me like it is than to be constantly told "it's ok"!!
Be fit or be fat is your mantra. I think we all need one of those! Mine is "I am strong. I am worthy. I am responsible."
love this blog!!

You have a good motto - but you also seem to have a 24 hour gym. The Y doesn't open until 6 AM here.
