A SAD DAY

Wednesday, November 07, 2012

So four more years of hope and change. It will be change all right, change to our country that may never be altered. We will pay more taxes, some in hidden ways. Obamacare will change the best healthcare system in the world. We have a president who lies, who covers things up, who doesn't support the military, who doesn't accept responsibility for anything, and did I say he lies? He will be out playing golf whenever possible and his wife will be flying around the world, spending $75,000 a day with an entourage of her friends. The USA will become a socialist country and the constitution will be demolished. At least I can say that I was not one of the stupid ones who fell for his rhetoric and lies. This is a sad day for AMericans.

For those of you who have a heightened level OF FEAR...I feel for you.
I do wonder though WHAT have you thought about what's been going on FOR ALL THESE YEARS?
Buildings being grounded by terrorists and airplanes.
Young Americans CHILDREN fighting a war over OIL.
I would guess people are sick and tired of things LIKE THAT ALREADY.

But hey...
We could go on forever talking about WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN...
We could go on forever about HOW BAD IT IS...
We could criticize everything our current and former Presidents have EVER DONE.
But WE STILL LIVE IN ONE OF THE BEST COUNTRIES IN THIS WORLD.

I don't believe Obama OR ANY ONE PERSON could cure the ills of this country. I believe what the country suffers from is due to years of mismanagement and therefore is incurable. I don't think for a moment he's going to come in with a magic wand and fix it all.

I am a small pea in a huge pod.
I am feel BLESSED EVERYDAY living here...and not some other country REGARDLESS of what I feel about POLITICS.

What I decided is... as a citizen who still loves and enjoys the freedoms I have and always ENJOYED...I am going to the best I can right where I stand.

I don't agree with EVERYTHING Obama is for...or plans.
I can say that for EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT EVER ELECTED.

I haven't and wouldn't disrespect A SOUL calling them anything but their God given name...because I respect MYSELF and even if someone differs from me...doesn't agree with me or the US President I have the sort of dignity that radiants BEYOND disagreement. And in doing so I KNOW that will perpetuate the kind of LIBERTY, PRIDE and UNITY this country sorely NEEDS.

Peace & Blessings to YOU ALL

Hey this is Carol's son Danny. My mom was showing me these comments, so I had to put my two cents in. I agree with everything said on this subject so far. I told my friend yesterday that this would now become the USSA (United Soviet States of America) under comrade Obama. In Knoxville Tennessee yesterday it was cold, rainy, gloomy, and cloudy. I thought for a minute, and said "even God is depressed that Obama got elected.". My son is the only one I talked to on polatics. We were talking and I said you have to read this blog, I didn't know you had gotten more responses. Hope no one minded if he added his 2 cents. Keep praying. Isn't it scary to think about the book 1984 Big brother is watching you, or the movie Logan's run, both of these was fiction at the time, but are they now.

I agree that it is a sad day for America. I am concerned about what is going to happen to us, our children and grandchildren, and the country. We did what we could with our vote.

I'm rededicating myself to being a prepper. I'm fearful for our future as a nation. Our constitution has become nothing more than paper behind a glass. I was appalled to see the electoral college vote in direct opposition to the popular vote in so many states. Did you know there are only a handful of states where the actual individual vote counts? In the rest, the electoral college casts a vote for you because the powers that be don't think Americans are intelligent enough, informed enough or able to vote correctly. We are living in troubled times and I can only see it getting worse, not better.

I so agree with you Carol. All we can do is pray.

Sad day indeed! Sad that so many americans did fall for such nonsense. However, I am thankful for Jesus! He is where my hope is!

So true. I think this country stared going down hill. when they started taking In God we trust out of everything. My grandmother use to say the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. So many people without jobs, and things are shoved down our throats. Ever read the book 1984, well big brother is watching us. emoticon
