It continues to amaze me how people think that there's always a secret to weight loss. I've lost 42 pounds and people are starting to notice. I'm CONSTANTLY asked, 'what are you doing?' 'what's your secret?' 'what are you taking?' First, I'd like to say that I just started watching what I ate and moving my fat ass around the block. Seriously, that's it. Second, there's no secret. Third, I find it offensive that you don't believe that I have the determination to lose weight on my own. There is no secret, I don't take pills to give me energy or decrease my appetite, and I'm not a member of any gym. Running is my thing, I know that it isn't everyone's thing. If you're looking to lose weight, just try different things until you figure out what you enjoy doing. I am not a gym kind of person, that doesn't mean you aren't.
Some days I just want to pull my hair out. Today is one of them. Someone at work was telling me about Sensa and how you can lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks! WOOHOO! Let me buy some, not. ://Losing weight is simple and difficult at the same time. Simple in the sense that you just watch what you put in your mouth and move your body, difficult in the sense that it takes self control.
Yeah, I dunno, I'm venting. :/
