A little blurp about my problems with depression and how I might be able to relieve some of the "dark cloud" feelings.

I applaude your thoughtfulness, you sound like you are seeking change. But, your idea of "faking enthusiasm" will only get you fake relief.
Having chronic depression all my life I can assure you that you must seek the attention of a doctor and get on some medication. I wish I had someone tell me that years ago. I have a lot of wasted years full of denial.
Recently my Dr. started me on Cymbalta, its really helping with the depression and a side effect is decreased appetite. It has helped me get a real enthusiasm towards taking better care of myself, first and foremost to shed pounds.
My starting weight was 350, I'm down to 326. Don't wait as long as me. Please seek help.

    Hey Fox,

Depression sucks, and I can completely empathize with how you are feeling. From your video it looks like you might be living with some major depression, and the best thing that you can do for yourself is to get yourself onto the right medication for you. Some antidepressants are not associated with weight gain, and especially if you have comforted yourself with food (like me) and may actually help you on your weight loss journey...not least of which because you actually have the energy to do the things that you need to do to lose weight.

We are here for you. And even though it does not seem like it, it does get better.

Your video is painfully raw and honest.
You don't believe you deserve to celebrate because of your size.
You are a child of God.
    He loves you unconditionally.
Go celebrate the gifts he has given you.
    Don't give into the depression.
