Yesterday I ran outside again. It was chilly and windy and overcast, and I ran on a path along the river. It was cold (I def didn't sweat) but it felt great! There were a few times my legs, especially my shins, felt wooden but I pushed through it!! Looking forward to more outdoor runs.
And, I am so proud of myself because yesterday I ate on track! I've been going over in calories a lot lately. I got enough fiber, which is sometimes a struggle not to get too little or too much. I missed my protein goal by a few grams, so I'm going to work on that. I always have so much trouble with protein.
So today I am going to take a walk during lunch. I have been tracking my weekly mileage for two weeks now, hoping it will help motivate me to do smaller workouts in time crunches rather than eschewing exercise when I don't have a lot of time. I've started very small, 6 miles a week, but it's working! I'm hoping that when I start running more than walking I can bump it up to 10 miles a week. Baby steps!
