Feels good to rest

Tuesday, November 06, 2012

I've been working a lot over the last few months, all good but lots of hours. I was finally able to take an extra day off this week and it sure feels good! One day off down, one to go, and then back to it tomorrow bright and early--I have a 5:30 a.m. meeting!

Rest is good and an important part of health, so I hope to find a better balance in the coming months. Until then, I'm off to enjoy my day today!

Have a good restful day to recharge your body & regroup your thoughts.I remember when my husband worked at the power plant. He was at work at 3:00 am came home at 5 :00 pm for supper went back to work until 11:00 pm. This was 7 days a week, this was during the outage. The money was fantastic paid our home off car & truck & a great nest egg. But guess what his health was starting to go , he could not recharge it was not worth it he eventually quit we have a normal life.I do not think people realize how important it is to take time out for you.We had people say to us with all that money how could you quit, money is not every thing he was working his way to a heart attack, high blood pressure. So you enjoy your day
