Afraid of the scale

I'll admit it, I'm afraid of the scale. Whether the number goes up or down, I have this long conversation in my head. I try to look at it as simple feedback, but it feels like it steers my day, so I have been mostly avoiding it. I recognize this and will do it.....tomorrow?

  I got on and it was not a good day, and was out of sync for a week. Beginning again.

    My scale has become one of my main motivators. Mondays are either a good day when I'm down which motivates me to keep going and days it doesn’t' move I get ticked off enough to push harder like last week which eventually pays off. emoticon

  Consider it just another data point. It will go up or down daily, but it is the trend that counts. That's how I use the reports available on this site. I weigh myself daily, but record it weekly. This evens out the jogs and only shows the trend. So take a deep breath and do not be afraid.

    I get on the scale daily... Don't be afraid or discouraged about losing or gaining daily... alot of it is water weight to begin with , especially if you are hydrating!! If you are on a strict diet, make sure you meet your macros daily TO THE GRAM!!! This will help alot with your weight change and goals!! Good Luck!!!

    I know how you feel. I haven't got on the scale in forever. I need to do this as well.
