You know how I adore my little baby boy, Sammy [NOT so little anymore--1st grade and excelling in reading and math and is a COMPLETE joy to homeschool!]
As many of you know, we've ground our wheat and made our own bread for over 22 years--all of our 8 children have grown up eating this bread. Well, my Sammy is getting ready to go on an overnight with one of my dearest friends [like an aunt to him] and the following conversation transpired. We were sitting at the counter eating lunch when Sammy said, "Mom what am I going to do with bread at Miss Sharon's house." I said, "Well, I told he I'd send a loaf of my bread to help out with the food." He said, "Oh good…Miss Sharon's bread tastes weird and it's WHITE."! ha! He doesn't like white bread--that tasteless, refined stuff they call food! hehe!
Anyway, this just blessed me so much that his taste buds are so seasoned that he knows healthy from unhealthy! YEAH!!!!!!
