Hurricane Sandy Buns

Monday, November 05, 2012

Well Hurricane Sandy Buns really knocked us all for a loop. Fortunately, our biggest loss at the Wantagh house was power. Laura's little beach shack was rocked and has to be knocked down. All her stuff got wet, muddy and sandy. The upside is that she was not getting along with her room mate and now can move somewhere else and live alone. :)

Long Beach got effffed up! I want to volunteer when I get back to LI. Supposedly it looks like a war zone. Jersey Shore is pretty much gone, just destroyed. Staten Island donezo. Luckily, mom and me escaped to the cabin for a whole week with power and warmth and just relaxed. Beesh was there with friends and it was a good time. I managed to go running 3 times in the freeeeezing cold, windy blehhhhness. I HATE winter! It really just makes me want to stay in and stuff my face.

But as soon as mom gets her butt to the westchester house (where i am now), we can head back to LI where my beloved gym has reopened. Back to a solid routine. Back to work but I don't mind. I want to do diet bet as well as join something at my gym. The weigh loss programs are soo expensive ugh! wtf! At least I get 25% off. But still its prob more than I can afford. I am in sooo much debt between my credit cards and student loans. FML. I pretty much just pay off the interest every month and its depressing and sucking out my soul. I need to climb out of the hole and the best way is to work my ass off at LifeTime and also find another job waiting tables or something STAT.

Then you can become a freaking rescue swimmer or firefighter and make a salary, and put it toward your debt RIGHT away.
