True spring weather it is now southerly and very fresh. Big day today with Zumba, housework and grocery shopping and a visitor coming by this afternoon. I want to harvest my silver beet today, a friend reminded me that you can cook and freeze it and use it like spinach. I am inclined to feed it to my chickens, but this is a far better idea.
My lettuces are going gang busters and it is time to plant more coriander and parsley and maybe basil, this is a rather daring concept as my garden doesn't get that much sun but I will give it a try. No tomatoes this year though, every year I swear no tomatoes and each year I try, a triumph of hope over experience, but this year I am sticking to my plan!
