Monday= Picture day, and a story of fast food

Monday, November 05, 2012

We'll get to the pics, but first I want to share a little story about a place called Burger King.

See the hubs and I were out "talking to Santa" (aka buying toys that I will be stepping on 2 months from now) and I was getting hungry. Just hungry, not ravished or wasting away. Yet I convinced the hubs that a trip to Burger King was in order. I got a double cheeseburger and a large fries. Sounded good at the time, haven't had any fast food in a while. I regretted that meal ALL DAY LONG. I felt like poo! Like just sluggish and blah. I had to really force myself to go on my long run. And the only reason I was able to convince myself is a bought a new long sleeved shirt (like under armour, but I got this for waaaay cheaper) and it was chilly out so I wanted to see how well it worked. And even though my time was pretty good, I know I could have done better if that greasy burger and fries hadn't weighed me down. And honestly, when did this happen? When did I become one of those people that fast food disgust them? Don't get me wrong, on the inside I'm doing a little happy dance, but still it's like this transformation came out of no where!

Anywho, onward to pics.......

    Good job on the run.
Just remember how you felt after that burger when you get another craving for something bad, it might just be enough to put you off lol

Good for you! I can't believe you went out running after eating that! I would be sick to my stomach. The pictures of your transformation are wonderful! Keep it up!

Joining in the happy dance! I'm getting pretty close to that point, too. I feel so sluggish and icky afterwards, but I eat it anyway on occassion. It just sounds so good and easy, even though if I put some thought into that impulse I would realize it is neither good or easy!!
Way to go!!!
