I sometimes worry that my schedule really messes up my weight loss goals. My typical day: I get up around 6:45, get the kids up, pack lunches, see them off to school then go back to bed. I sleep until 1:00 (at the latest), get up, get ready for work. At this point, I have usually not eaten anything. Once I arrive at work, I might hit snack time if it's something that appeals to me, but not always. Supper break is at 6:00 and this is usually the first time I eat anything substantial. I work until 10:30 then go work out. When I get home, I usually have anything from a small snack to a full meal. I go to bed somewhere between 1:00 and 3:00 am.
I realize I should eat something when I'm up at 6:45, but I'm absolutely not hungry then. I'm usually not hungry at 1:00 either. (I've always been the kind of person that has to be up a while before I want something to eat). When I look at my nutrition reports, snacks are always a big part of my calories. Some of this comes from anything I don't eat at a scheduled mealtime, I call a snack. Some of this comes from the fact that by mid to late evening, I'm hungry and snacking.
Something to ponder anyway...
