I wish God didn't trust me so much...

Sunday, November 04, 2012

I've always heard it said that "God never gives us more than we can handle." Right now I am absolutely struggling to keep the faith! I am so frustrated. It seems like every time I turn around something else happens. I can't even get one problem/crisis handled before the next one pops up lately.

I know these issues are in my path for a reason. But, c'mon!

I'm just feeling a lot of stress right now. If, indeed, God has given me this mess, then He has more faith in me to sort it out than I do!

Today wasn't even a bad day (just really annoying!). I guess I'm just anticipating this coming week. Ugh, it promises to be a doozy emoticon

Often times the anticipation is worse than the actual event. Hang in there!!!

PS You quote is one of my favorites, also. The other is "Man plans; God laughs."

Bad things happen to good people. People have free will to hurt themselves and hurt others, and sometimes it seems the first step towards making it better is to try anything positive.

You know I'm going through a very hard time right now myself, so I know how you feel. I don't believe in the saying about not getting more than you can handle - if that was true people wouldn't commit suicide, be depressed, have anxiety, or give up on positivity. I think it's more that we must face difficulties and how we handle them is made better or worse on how we approach it.

Is there anything you can do to get help from others? Can you prioritize and handle each issue in turn, even if you only spend a few minutes on each before moving on? How about asking God to step in and help you sort through the mess and solve the problems? If he put them in your path he should be able to help you through them.

You're in my thoughts. I'm grateful to know you. Hang in and keep trying - that's what I'm doing. (I haven't had a chance to look at the pictures and I'm having a very difficult day medically, but I will look at them soon.)

my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years
old and has lost 105 pounds. she went from a size 24 to a size 10. all her health issues dropped off as the 105 pounds dropped off. took 16 months.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60. i went from a size 18 to a size 10 shorts and medium tops from a 1 or 2x. took 7 months.

use a salad plate as a dinner plate

use fruit for your sweet tooth cravings, an apple works great. helps with the chewing sensation.

fill your salad plate with half vegetables.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal
