A Visit to the ol' M*A*S*H 4077th

Sunday, November 04, 2012

After last weekend's monster hike I had decided to do a small recovery hike only this weekend. We hiked out of Malibu Creek State Park (the old Reagan Ranch) to the M*A*S*H Site. Round trip just shy of 7 miles.

Beautiful morning.

Past Century Lake. So clear and still. Upside down mountain anyone?

A skinny path through the rocks.

Only a couple of props left.

Anybody remember this mountain range? (Oh wait! It's in Korea...)

A pretty trail

My hike for next weekend is already planned.
See you on the trail.

Gorgeous pictures, as always! Seeing the pictures from the M*A*S*H set immediately brought the theme song to mind (and now I can't get it out...)

I know that every planet in the universe and every country on the earth looks remarkably like the area near Los Angeles, California.

The scenery looks quite beautiful.

Thanks, Bruce

Love the photos! We visited the Reagan Ranch a couple of years ago, but most of it was off limits. What an incredible hike and lovely photos!

Girl that is awesome that you got to see the set of M*A*S*H. I love that some of it is still there. The rest is awesome though. I love the mountain in the water.

The big hikes are fun, challenging, but they do take their toll. Very nice, great pictures. Thanks you.
