I did much better concerning straight processed sugary foods and white flours! I had wheat flour on my wrap at the Mall of America today. I drank an orange, carrot, banana juice from the juice bar and NO SWEETS!
I found an immersion blender to blend my soups. I was excited to use it so I made squash soup. I added onion, carrot and celery to the mix - turmeric, chicken granules, and nutmeg with fresh ginger and basil. I put cayenne pepper in my own bowl. Delish! AND HEALTHY! I ate just a few dill triscuit crackers for a grain.
Tonight I invented a cookie with peanut butter (only 1/4 cup), spelt flour, barley flour, and sucanat for the sweetener. They turned out totally cookie-ish, but I added too much salt. I will remember that next time. Yum!
Okay, I'm exhausted. Long day. Time to read and go to bed.
