It was a rainy day - even had some hail this afternoon. That means all cardio walking was done inside. No big hill today or hiking trail in the woods. The New Balance walking shoes are fabulous. They really do make a difference. Looking forward to trying them outside for cardio walking too. They say you're supposed to get new walking shoes every 6-9 months or so if you do a lot of walking. I think my old shoes were about 4.5 years old!!! Really needed a new pair. Did 8.57 miles on the day.

Did strength training this evening - core; lower body.

Had acorn squash, broccoli and boneless pork loin roast for dinner. It was super good! Just love squash.

Might have a lead on another dog to rescue in a shelter in KY. Will keep you posted and will have more info about it on Monday. The situation is very fluid and changes day to day.

    Gosh I love the autumn squashes also! I made a butternut and apple squash the other day. For tracking purposes, the spark recipe was pretty darn close :)

    I would love your pork loin recipe. My husband really likes pork loin, but I've never found a way to cook it.
