Just wanted to blog and let you'all know that we got off pretty lucky as far as the storm goes. The electric was off for a short time , had some tree limbs down, but that was it. My parents and a couple of people I work with still do not have electric. I am feeling blessed today for things to be back to normal.
We had a band meeting this week and are finalizing the trip details for the Rose Bowl Parade. I am really excited now! They have raised 218,000 dollars with the fundraisers and community donations!!! The performance at half time was incredible last night. The kids look great.
As for me, I am plugging along. One day at a time. I am trading in my trix this week for my new favorite snack, edamame:) I bought some talapia too. Happy Saturday everyone.
