I made these for my family today, and I'm making a public vow here on Spark that I will not indulge. I indulged plenty last night already!!!

My best defense is a good offense.......I do my best to keep that stuff out of my life. But my wife loves to cook and they show up more than I like. So then I just have to make sure I only eat one a day and NEVER anymore. Most the time it works. LOL

I made coconut oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for my family last night. I think I ate six of them. At 100 calories per cookie they are not exactly friendly to my meal plan. Today the remainder sit in a plastic bin in the cupboard, out of sight from prying eyes and wandering hands. :D I too vow not to eat any today at all.

Good job not indulging! I don't have that kind of self-control. If they are in the house I WILL eat them. So I don't keep sweets in the house. They are my weakness. And I am losing/maintaining my weight well without sweets and it is working.

Keep up the great work!

I am trying to keep the sweets under control as well. I just have to keep reminding myself that nothing tastes as good as being thin and fit feels.

No, you won't eat them! You got past the smell of them baking, the hardest part is behind you! I keep reminding myself that I really will be ok if I don't indulge. There will be other (insert food here). I pigged out on Cheddar Jack Cheez Its today. I didn't even like them! I kept eating them, hoping they'd get better I guess. So gross, nearly 800 calories wasted, and then ate random other crap because I wasn't satisfied.

I was going to say, "One cookie won't hurt," Then, I saw that you indulged at a party last night. So I'll say, "Good for you!" (I'd save one for tomorrow, though!)

I admire your will power. I do well, most of the time, but sometimes I allow myself!

P.S. Those are my favorite cookies!
