Our assignment is to make a meal and exercise plan: We must stragize and come up with some new ideas and tips that we can use on our quest to get healthy and fit.
I sat down and wrote out a menu that i will be using for this weeks challenge and adding to my tracker each day i also have to make sure i stay within my calorie range. Here are some of the ideas i plan on using in this weeks challenge i,ll be checking other people,s pages for more tips and ideas
Nutrition: stragizing plans Eat healthy foods like
1) preparing my meals a head of time and storing in the refrigerator with date and labels so i can use the extra time for other things. 2) Search spark menus for new healthy recipes. 3) Look at labels more closely to monitor my fat, sodium and carbs intake. 4) Eat a healthy breakfast so i don,t get hungry later and start finding other non-nutritionally foods to eat yummy but costly for me. 5) prep clothes for the next day so i can have time in the morning for breakfast 6) Read other successful spark members nutrition tracker to see what they are eating so that i can make some changes. 7) Read at least 3 success stories a day (help me stay motivated) 8) learn new method of tracking intake (calories in versus calories out) 9) utilize all of spark peoples features 10) continue eating fruits and veggies and add a green smoothie to my food intake at least once a week 11) log and monitor water intake (aim for 8 glasses a day or more)
Exercise: strategizing plans Add more strength training
1) Be more consistent 2) set clock a half hour earlier to try and get in a 20 min workout tape 3) walk on treadmill for at least 1 hour a day using incline feature) 4) Search web to find new exercise ideas for strength training 5) Post sticky notes all over house as visual reminders 6) Read affirmations so that i will not lose hope in reaching my goals.
These are the plans i will use this week and if they work i will continue to use them on a daily basis
