Living Green.... is like...living free and it's a good thing, and when you go green, you go clean. That’s how I feel about my green journey. Living with green “foods” and other foods as well is about how you choose to balance your life. I love drinking my green smoothies, and I have not had anything green in a few days, but my weight is still good. This smoothie I’m drinking has. Spinach & Mangos with cinnamon & ginger with 3 heaping scoops of ground soy beans for protein. It’s so good. I made 40oz and I’m only going to drink 20oz tonight, and I’ll have what’s left in the morning. Green Smoothies are so good and good for my body.
I think adding more green smoothies have really helped with the weight loss this week. Everyone says. No! You are just moving more, it’s not the movement I’ve been doing. That has something to do with it, but I think the green smoothies are helping out too. I don’t care what they think. I hold onto my smoothies’ truth, and how good they are for my body. I mean, it’s really easy to get in all the veggies and fruit servings I need this way, and I don’t have to stress either. You know… The stresses of having this or having that –I just load the blender up and start blending, and this is very healthy for me. I love having them, and I don’t think my life would be the same without them. I’ve tried a few times to eat badly, but let me tell you. I get sick when I do it –but I always bounce back.
When I eat bad… I have cramps “that’s” the first warning sign I get, and I get it after a few bites maybe “more” it depends on what I’m eating. So I have to be very careful of what I place in my mouth. Nothing is wrong with that. It helps me stay more balanced with my eating nowadays. I can’t brush off the warning signs anymore.
I don’t even have that same passion for foods or over eating them like I once did. Now, I can binge eat at times, but the binge isn’t a binge like the ones I’ve had in the past. A few bites too many and I’m stuffed. My husband and I pretty much count my bites as my stopping point. 12 to 16 bites and I’m fine with that.
Now, I’m learning, and I feel pretty good about what I’ve been learning over the past few weeks. My daughter boyfriend came over, and he hasn’t seen me all summer long, and my daughter and him was on the “outs”, and he said. MAMA! He calls me that. You’re getting smaller and I go… Thank you baby! That was so sweet. People are noticing the loss. My husband aunts saw me in the store, and they noticed, and said. What’s going on with you, Missy? And that felt good too. They call me Missy, and I love the nickname too.
I love smoothies, and I love drinking them for my health. I feel young and energized. I walked 145minutes with my mom, and we loved the walk, we didn’t go far like we did yesterday, but we did go far enough to get a good walk in. We are making up for the lost time this week due to the cold, and that’s great too.
