Hello all,
Many of you know that I live at the Jersey Shore.. Ocean County to be exact. I just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this devastating and difficult time.
My family and I are all safe. We had minimal property damage..Thank you Jesus! My town though looks like a war zone, as does most of New Jersey.. Trees down, telephone poles down, wires down, fences, trees through houses... Homes washed away..
Please continue to pray for us all...

    I just saw your blog. I didn't know that you lived on the Jersey Shore!!! OMG! I've seen horrific pictures of Jersey since Sandy hit. To think you were in the midst of it all! OMG! I'm so relieved to hear that you and your family are OK! I had no idea what you were going through! I can't imagine what it must be like to go through something as devastating as that and to see all the destructive aftermath! So glad you had minimal property damage. You are such a dear friend! You can count on my lifting prayers and contributions to Red Cross to help you and those in need for the immediate needs of food and clothing and housing as Jersey works on the very long road to clean up and rebuild! Wish I could do more to help!

    I have seen damage from hurricanes here in FL and can empathize with those whose lives have been upended. I hope they find food and shelter and stay positive and safe. -- Lou

    CarrieAnne, I didn't know you live in Jersey but I have been praying for all those affected by Sandra. Now I can pray specifically for you and the needs you mentioned. Do you know if Ocean City and Wildwood got hit also? What about Cherry Hill? I grew up in Philly and Jesey wasn't that far from home..... My sister lives in a suburb of Philly and lost the power in her business and at home. She has a family of 7. Thankfully, their power was restored. I am so glad you and your family are safe and that there was minimal damage!!
