One of my trusted, inspiring sparkfriends...Happy Walker...mentioned something on my blog that has struck a cord. The concept of little steps....
So building on that idea, what is today's little step? This morning I threw out the remanents of last nights binge. Cleaned up the kitchen. And packed a healthy lunch and snacks to take with me to work. Today's little step is to eat only what I've brought in. I have with me, a delicious sandwich, veggies, fruit, and a lovely carrot dill soup. I am looking forward to the colorful food I have with me today. And it relieves me of searching for something to eat for lunch later. Given the storm, our cafeteria has very limited options.
As for the rest of the work day...many of my colleagues haven't yet been able to make it to work, so I will put some music on...focus on my tasks and have a productive day.
