Absolutely Friends! It's back to the basics because I'm up 0.8 lbs this week! Well, & here's why! (No surprise!)
-I only partially tracked most days, & on 2 days, not at all!
-Was sick & ate soup & crackers x2 days. Mind you, I would eat a WHOLE package of saltines each time! Food addict that I am, I didn't stop at just 4-6!
-Experienced increased cravings & indulged in comfort foods
-Eating less fruits & veggies
-Halloween Party! (which was very fun, by the way!)
It was at a friend's home on Marco Island, in her driveway, no less! Weather was perfect & there was a steady flow of trick or treaters! My friend gave out 38 lbs of candy! Now, that's a lot of sweets! FYI: I had NONE! Nadda! However, I did enjoy a variety of "treats"! People made FUN stuff! A pumpkin head w/hummus "vomit" oozing from it's mouth! Guacamole "brains" w/cauliflower, & a spider cheese ball! A prosciutto skull (it was a skull base w/prosciutto wrapped on it to resemble muscle tissue)! There were mice cookies too! And LOTS & LOTS of food & beverage! FUN was had by all!!! Myself included!
Now my plan to get back on track is to eat only POWER FOODS this week! Power foods, of course, are...
-Whole grains (includes reduced calorie breads)
-Non fat dairy
ALSO, I will...
-STAY IN CALORIC RANGE
-TRACK! TRACK! TRACK!
-Portion control! The food scale is my friend!
-Drink the water!
GOT IT! Got it! Alright now, let's git 'er done! I was on target yesterday! I plan to remain on target today! I promise to do my very best! I hope you're all doing well, my friends! I'm doing PILATES & DRUMS ALIVE this morning! And I'm feeling EMPOWERED & STRONG! I've got this!
