My goal (or resolution) for October was to get three strength training sessions in a week. Joining a gym near my home in addition to my work fitness center has helped immensely. They have a class on Saturday mornings that I really like and I hit another one tonight. I've been able to get to the fitness center at work more regularly as well so I was able to make my goal for the month!
November's resolution is to do a Spark Video everyday. I'm realistic enough to know I may not make EVERY day but I'll shoot for it and if I miss one here and there I'm not going to stress over it. I did the 10 minute crunchless ab workout today before my class at the gym. I forget sometimes how great the videos are right here in my computer and so easy to do.
Now what I really need to work on is also getting control of my eating. I've been looking for comfort I guess and need to find that comfort in other ways. I feel better when I eat clean but for some reason it's just been really hard lately. I suppose it's in part to some stress - studying and not passing the CAPM; starting a new position; moving my office; money and general relationship stuff. I'm also going to do my best to eat better going into November and be more prepared going into the holidays. So in addition to doing Spark videos in November, my resolution is also to work at being more mentally strong!
