Last week I felt a little weird, my ear itched and was a bit tender. I planned to have it checked out over the weekend, if I could get in to see my doctor.
Not so fast little one.
Thursday, while at work, my ear is throbbing and I feel kinda dizzy. By the time I get off work, I feel I NEED to find an Urgent Care to check this out.
As luck would have it, the Urgent Care walking distance from my house is a 10-10, and I get off work at 8, so I am golden. Go in, see the Doc, get a RX, head to the drug store to fill it, and suffering the whole way.
Ear infection. For those who have not had an ear infection, or let it go to inner ear, be thankful, VERY THANKFUL. An inner Ear infection is a pain unlike any other I have ever had, it's bad, very strong and in. your. head. You can not reach this, pain killers don't really do anything unless you get one that knocks you out, and then you just sleep or doze while wishing there was something you could do to STOP THE PAIN.
So Thursday night, no sleep (our nighttime pain killers weren't strong enough), the ear is bad enough that I can't chew for jaw pain, my throat is a little sore and I am generally miserable, so no work on Friday... Weekend, continued RX, pain killers, whatnot, try to head out with hubby, hating life. I now also can't really hear, since the swelling has taken over.
Monday, we head to the Dr. Other ear is feeling weird, so it seemed prudent.
Dr tells me, yes, RX is working and Yes, you have another ear infection in the other ear.
Another RX, continue the old one.... Pain killers.
Head to work Tuesday, half deaf.....
Flash forward, pain is all but gone, an just now starting to chew (yeah for liquid diet) and still half deaf....
Long story ending, I have not been to the gym since Wednesday of last week. Per scale, I still lost weight.... (see above on liquid diet)
I need to try and get to the gym in the AM, see if I can do the virtual 5K....
