Promoting New Spark People Book

Thursday, November 01, 2012

I am not sure if I mentioned this but I responded to an email survey about my weightloss with sparkpeople. They emailed back saying they wanna use what I said and also the woman asked for some before and after photos to promote the book with. Pretty cool! She has gonna send me two books. It comes out May 7th called The Spark Solution. She told me to promote the book and get the word out there. I posted a before picture of myself on facebook last night. Kinda made me sick to my stomach but hey in the name of helping ppl why not. It's good to never forget! Never go back. Get up and do something every single day, even if its a 20 minute walk.

I think the hardest part about posting it was all the ppl who know me as a n average size. But ya know sometimes u can get a little motivation from yourself! From looking at an old photo. I just took this photo with Scott last Saturday. I am wearing a very simlar shirt lol Weird!

Thick or average same clothes get choose, I guess.

I think my scale is playing tricks on me! It's still high and I have been pretty good. I weighed myself today on my backup scale that tends to be 1 lb higher then my main scale. 1 lb less instead. The hell!!! I think someone mentioned on here that their scale was weighing weird when the battery was dieing. Wont that be funny if I have been spazing out and it's all cuz the battery is low? HMPH!

I am still so bleh about photography. I need something new to shoot.

Day 41: Ralphers peeking out from his blanket.

Day 42: Local sweet pepper rejects.

Day 43: Lots of walks to the graveyard this week with the dogs. Thomas William Van Schoick's mausoleum. Yet another man with a street. http://www.mchistory.org/popup

Day 44: Dusk in the graveyard on halloween. Yeah I know it's getting lame. I should try to find some models.

A friend had lost a ton of weight but I did not know her then. I found out only because she kept a photo in her office--to motivate herself. I was quite surprised. I had a hard time picturing her as in the before photo. chris

Hey! That is so awesome! I hadn't heard Spark was doing a new book.

And yes, we'd tend to favor the same colors no matter what our size. I did notice the stripes were thinner in the before photo and bolder in the after photo (plus you look like you are hiding behind Scott in the after photo?).... which could be an indication of your confidence in wearing bolder patterns, or just because the thinner stripes were not available in your new size when you found this. I have clothes from my "before I was heavy days" that if I ever get back to that size, would blend right on in with the colors I still prefer these days.

Go get a new battery, already!!

On photography, go in and do close-ups of specific details of the whole (like the goo-gaws around the mausoleum door that aren't as clear in a whole building shot??)... that's something I kinda like doing...

I think it is cool that they are using you!!

I loved the pictures. Especially Ralphers. LOL.

I like deformed peppers for some reason. The perfect ones are not as interesting.

Your before/after pictures still astound me, and you were under 200 when I met you. Whenever I see them, I am reminded of what people are capable of. You never stop Sparking, and that's what I admire about you.
