I read the best quote this week from one of my amazing Spark Friends: If you are sick of starting over, stop giving up!
It's no secret, I've been having trouble getting back on track and staying there ever since we moved and I increased my hours at work. I find myself getting frustrated with my schedule and falling back into my old habits, the easy habits. I then get frustrated with myself and with my body, but I haven't been putting myself first. I've planned to get back on track time and time again, and can't put a plan into motion.
I decided to try Spark Coach, and I've been working on fast break goals for the past 10 days (not snacking in the evenings, do affirmations every day, and get some activity in), and I'm happy with my progress. I sat down today to work out a solid plan - a total plan. Workouts planned, meals planned, affirmations scheduled, time built in every week to plan for the coming week - all fitting into my tight daily routine (I wish Spark would let you track more than 1 week at a time!). Plan is officially in place. I know from my successful times that pre-planning these things brings the best results for me.
I haven't stuck with a workout plan or tracked calories in awhile now, and I'm actually looking forward to the structure and accountability. First weigh-in and workout planned for this Sunday (due to my work schedule the rest of the week), and then its FULL STEAM AHEAD!
