I LOVE SP People!

Wednesday, October 31, 2012

Soul baring time...I was NEVER one to tell anyone that I was trying to lose weight. I know why...because I would be embarrassed if I failed. So I always kept it to myself which for me, did not leave me "accountable" so of course I failed!
Thanks to Diet_Friend & George815 for leaving comments on my Blog! That is one of the reasons I joined SP - I was hoping to have to become "accountable", but on a somewhat anonymous basis. Although I really did not think anyone would read what I wrote here, I was doing it as a kind of diary for me to see my shortcomings with my diet. Now that I know I am being kindly watched over and encouraged it makes me want to succeed even more!
I must admit, I have only been with SP a few short weeks but have already experienced the difference in my diet, energy...not to mention losing 7lbs (!) and most of all my commitment to healthier eating and living. Today I will be thankful for the technology that allows this type of format to flourish!

I feel the same way. It is not just the weight lost that is so good, I feel good about the choices that I am making with food, trying new recipes and meeting new friend. Gosh, I am taking water aerobics for the first time in my life and after 58 years of age. We can do this. Hang stuff, it is worth it to do something just for yourself. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
