I'll be honest. I crashed and burned today.
I made it about halfway and I was so tired I just had to eat something. So, I had a TBSP of peanut butter and thought, "I'll keep going, maybe I just need a little protein." It was not to be. I made it a day and a half, people!!!
The good news is that I am craving healthy food like you would not believe. All day I just wanted a monsterous salad with every vegetable I could find. So, if nothing else, I think even a day and a half is better than nothing if it gets you where you need to go. It has helped me to really think deeply about the things I put in my body and wanting them to be as unprocessed as possible.
Even though I am moving on from the juice fast, I still plan on making the commitment to only fruits, veggies, whole grains and legumes for the rest of the year. This will be much more doable through the holidays while still avoiding all those sweets.
My short term goal is to loose 15 lbs by the end of the year. Totally doable.
