tigers versus cows

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

A new acquaintence was telling me that he had gotten a big belly because of eating at my favorite restaurant (A one of a kind, home cooking with a southern flair restaurant). I told him I was losing weight while eating at that same place! Then he asked me what I was eating. I told him lots of vegetables and a little lean protein. He said "Salads?"
I said "Sometimes, I did today."
"Have you ever seen a fat tiger? How about a fat panther? Lion? " he asked me.
I said "No."
Then he quickly added, "What about a fat hippo, elephant, cow? - They eat plants and they are the ones that are fat!!!!" "I don't want to risk getting that fat," he chided. "I am going to all the meat I can!"

Of course he was kidding......I think!

He doesn't sound too smart about nutrition.
Like one other spark member posted "Is his last name Atkins"?

Is his last name Atkins? I know the Dr. Atkins is know longer with us, so maybe he's a relative. Remember his "big belly" shows his plan is working. Just kidding! emoticon emoticon emoticon
