Thinking about using the old excuse that Halloween only comes once a year? Think again! Trying to tell yourself you can only get Reese's pumpkins for a limited time? What about the Christmas trees and the Easter eggs? Candy corn calling your name and then trying to split? Ha! So many treats are available year round that we forget what it really means to "treat" ourselves.
This Halloween try taking a step back and reminding yourself that those limited time treats will be so much sweeter a year from now closer to your goal weight. Don't sneak treats either! Be accountable for what you do to yourself! Walk with the kids to trick or treat! Throw out the extra candy - pick two to three splurge pieces then get it out of the house!
Better to waste than wear it on your waist! Enjoy the spirit of the holiday, and wake up with no regrets on November 1st.
