Resting & Measurements

Today was a rest day as far as workouts are concerned. However, I am battling a little cold and have been congested and sneezing. Lucky for me, those are the only symptoms I am having and am finding relief with an occasional dose of Advil.

My husband bought us the Beach Body 10 Minute Trainer and we are going to be starting it tomorrow so we took our before photos and measurements this evening. I am really looking forward to this because while I have 3 runs scheduled per week, I was trying to figure out what I should do during the off days. The thing I like about this set is that the workouts are 10 minutes but you can do 2 or 3 of the workouts if time permits. I plan on doing at least 1 of the workouts 5 days a week and ill listen to my body and make sure that I am not overdoing it. Afterall, I do not injure myself and not be able to walk the Dallas Half in December or run the Cowtown in February. As far as the measurements are concerned, I was a little sad but am going to use it to motivate me to continue to improve.
