Doing it on my own!

I've been going to doctors and trying to lose weight with their help for about 7 months now. In the past 7 months I've lost about 30 lbs, but was really hoping to have lost at least 50lbs. Unfortunately, we discovered that I have a severe vitamin D deficiency which was making it INCREDIBLY hard for me to lose weight and causing all sorts of other health issues.

Some of the symptoms included:
- Trouble losing weight no matter how much I dieted and exercised.
- Hair loss
- Not sleeping
- Dry skin
- Hair loss
- Depression
- Horrible cramps

Now that I'm on the vitamin D and have been for several weeks, I'm not experiencing any of these symptoms anymore!!! I went back to the dr. for a check up and booster shots and he recommended another diet pill. It is supposed to work pretty well, but all I could think of was how horrible I felt while I was on them before and how I'm finally feeling better. I decided to decline the offer. At first I was a little nervous about that decision, but now I am completely at peace with it! Even if it takes me longer to lose this weight, I'm good with that! I don't feel like I'm going to die anymore and I am completely in control of myself and my mood for the first time in a VERY long time! I'm not giving that up!!!

    Amen, amen, and AMEN! Not worth the side effects, you are too precious! Your hubby & kiddos need you way too much to put yourself at any more risk than necessary. No side effects of a healthy diet and moderate exercise... well, except of course improved mood and better health! :) By the way, your dinner sounds delish and I am so sad that I am 15 hours away!!!!
