Day 4 Whole30 and cooking

Made the dog cookies for 4 months. Couple packs for freezer and several for deep freeze. They are made with 7.5 lb chicken livers, powder milk, dozen eggs, big can pumpkin, baking soda, anise, what ever flour I have on hand. Was not using corn meal or wheat... To see if Bradley had a rash because of it. I used corn and wheat in 1/2 and wheat in the other 1/2.
Will watch his skin. They eat raw for bkfst, dinner and carrot treats. Instinct. Bradley still has to lose 0.8 pounds. He was 14.5 pounds when we took him limping to the Dr. She said get him to 12. He has Cushing's and gets Rx 2 x a day. His knee is better most of the time.

We had just gotten the grass fed beef Friday. I got out there and recorded what we had and did my 'shopping'. That was fun. I have never owned a freezer before this year, and I am old.
I got a couple pounds pork sausage and made a couple pans of a Frittata. DH was complaining about not having something he would eat for breakfast. He is not ready for the leftover anything. He thinks cereal or eggs and meat. No cereal for ~ 2 months, so a lot of eggs and pasture bacon. We only bought bacon and beef jerkey last time at the farmers market and he about had a kitten. He must never have looked when I paid before. I had tried to encourage him to eat a couple pieces with eggs, but he thought it was cool that he could eat a pound and lose weight.
So, lots of Frittata meals.
I put all the beef short ribs in the crock pot and filled up with veggies... Had to taste everything as I put it away. DH made a chili. Froze some of everything.
Wow, lots of good eats.
