I got a 3 mile walk in on the rail trail this morning, thru wind and rain, burned more calories. We have a wood stove, generator, and plenty of water. We will just ride it out. We live on a mtn,so we worry about wind not flooding. Both cats are sound asleep in front of the woodstove, they watched wind n leaves all morning, rough day, lol. I hope every is safe and sound. emoticon

So glad you have a secure place to stay and a woodstove for back up -that is the best! I hope you suffer no damage from the winds. My thoughts will be with you and your safety!

Stay safe. It's right over us. (and we still have electric.. knock wood) Throws one's exercise and diet out the window. Great you got a walk in.

I will keep you in my prayers - I don't pray much, but there are some reasons that I have to. My parents are hauling 40,000 pounds of ice to PA to help prepare for the relief effort, but they deliver tonight at midnight, so that puts them right in the way of all the yuck! Then they will have another 4 hours to drive to get home in Friendship, NY.

I am worried for everyone, but the law of averages is making me very worried for dad as he plans to retire in December and something happening is not what he needs right now at all.

Hang in there and stay inside and cozy. I am watching closely, just wish she would have hit Florida and spared all of you the yuck.
